Paul Ekman, PhD is a world expert on emotion and its expression, a topic he has researched for more than 30 years. Dr. Ekman has developed effective methods for teaching key emotional and social skills, particularly how to read emotions in others. These tools for social intelligence are useful to anyone whose work involves emotional situations, from health care and social workers, sales and leadership, to those in law enforcement. Among his many books are Unmasking the Face, Telling Lies, and Emotions Revealed. He is currently science consultant to the Fox show Lie to Me, based on his work, and was named in Time magazine's 2009 list of the world's 100 most influential people.
